The NOCCA Institute and the Lupin Foundation invite you to one of the best parties in a city known for its parties: ART & SOUL! Proceeds from ART & SOUL benefit the New Orleans Center for Creative Arts (NOCCA), Louisiana’s arts conservatory for high school students.
ART & SOUL 2012 will take place Sunday, May 20 at NOCCA, located at 2800 Chartres Street in New Orleans’ historic Faubourg Marigny. The ART & SOUL Patron Party will run from 6:00 – 7:00pm, offering a sneak peek at the silent auction, a special menu of savory hors d’oeuvres, and performances by NOCCA students from the Jazz and Musical Theatre departments.
The ART & SOUL Gala follows from 7:00 – 10:00pm. Gala guests will be treated to a dinner buffet, open bar, live music by Sasha Masakowski & Musical Playground, the NOCCA Alumni All-Stars, and special performances by NOCCA’s Clasical Music, Jazz, Musical Theatre, and Vocal Music students.
A popular feature of the event is a fabulous silent auction, featuring outstanding artwork, great vacation packages, home furnishings, jewelry, an array of gift certificates, and much more. Guests will also have the opportunity to shop in the brand-new NOCCA Marketplace, offering books, visual art, CDs, gourmet food items, and other merchandise created by NOCCA students, alumni, and faculty!
Throughout the evening, guests will also enjoy food prepared by the Hilton New Orleans Riverside, beverages by Sazerac Company, Inc. and Republic Beverage Company, sangria by Chef Dana D’Anzi Tuohy, and specialty drinks by Plum Street Snowballs.
