You may be ready for some football, but how prepared are you to win over your friends’ tastebuds before the game? Chef James and Chef Robert will show you how to take your tailgating skills to the next level, spicing up classics like buffalo wings and beer-can chicken. Since it’s Monday night, you’ll be able to enjoy your finished dishes while watching the Steelers take on the Chargers.

In just a couple of hours, Chef James and Chef Robert will show you how to make a complete French meal. You’ll learn the ins and outs of cooking traditional French dishes like coq au vin and tarte tatin — you’ll even make fresh bread! The entire course is designed for home cooks, using techniques that can easily be replicated in your own kitchen. At the end of class, sit down with James and Robert to enjoy the fruits of your labor.

Two weeks before the Big Meal, Chef James and Robert will show you how to design and prepare a perfect Thanksgiving feast. They’ll show you how to start things off with an amazing gumbo. Then, you’ll learn to cook a perfect turkey, mouthwatering stuffing, and just the right dessert.

Enrollment is limited to 10 students per class. Tuition is $100, with proceeds benefiting The NOCCA Institute and its programs for NOCCA students, faculty, and the community. No cooking experience is required, though participants will need to dress appropriately for cooking (e.g. long pants, close-toed shoes, with hair under a hat or tied back). Participants should be 18 or older.
