This Tuesday, May 3, New Orleans nonprofits like The NOCCA Institute are teaming up for another exciting GiveNOLA Day. It’s a day designed to raise awareness of the city’s many arts, cultural, and social service organizations and to encourage charitable giving.
This year, The NOCCA Institute will allocate all GiveNOLA Day funds to its Financial Aid Program. Though NOCCA is tuition-free, up to 40% of students still need financial assistance to pay for department and technology fees that range from $185 to $1500, as well as extracurricular training. The Financial Aid Program grants awards for those and other expenses, like covering the cost of students’ training at life-changing summer intensives.
The returns on your investment will be huge: over the last decade, NOCCA graduates have earned over $110 million in scholarships and aid to college. Many of them would never have been able to do so without the support of donors like you.
