Carnival season is just around the corner, and so are king cakes! Once again, NOCCA’s Culinary Arts department is partnering with Cake Cafe’s Chef Steve Himelfarb to produce three outstanding cakes–and from now through Sunday, you can get a 10% discount when you pre-order with the code “EARLYBIRD23”!!
- Cake Cafe’s beloved Apple and Goat Cheese King Cake: Chef Steve’s famous king cake is filled with apples, vanilla, cinnamon, goat cheese, and cream cheese. It’s decorated with a purple, green, and gold vanilla glaze, which is sweetened with a touch of local honey.
- Raspberry Cream Cheese King Cake: This king cake combines tangy, tart raspberries with cool cream cheese filling. We launched it as a limited-edition cake in 2021, but it quickly became a fan favorite, so we’ve added it to our permanent menu.
- Gluten-Free, Dairy-Free King Cake: This cinnamon-flavored treat is perfect for anyone who loves the taste of a classic New Orleans-style king cake.
