NOCCA’s turning 40! We’re celebrating this milestone on Sunday, May 17 at The Big 4-Oh! Gala, hosted by Terence Blanchard and Robin Burgess.
The evening will feature performances by GRAMMY Award-winners Pedrito Martinez and Terence Blanchard, plus Jee Yeoun Ko and Michael Pellera; food by New Orleans’ top chefs including Tory McPhail, Frank Brigtsen, Justin Devillier, and Aaron Burgau; specialty hors d’oeuvres prepared by NOCCA’s Culinary Arts students and faculty; a mobile silent and live auction; and entertainment by NOCCA students and alumni!
This very special party will take place in NOCCA’s brand new Chevron Forum on Press Street. Celebrate NOCCA in this gorgeous space, lit up by Solomon Group.
The Big 4-Oh! Gala starts at 6pm, with a special “Twilight” party to follow. Purchasers of Big 4-Oh! tickets gain admission to the entire evening-long event; Twilight guests are admitted at 7:30pm.
The Big 4-Oh! Gala supports The NOCCA Institute and generates important funds for financial aid programs, artist residencies, and many other initiatives that benefit the students and faculty at the New Orleans Center for Creative Arts. The success of this event relies heavily on your generous support.
