Join us in Press Street Gardens for a weekly Art Market, hosted by 5 Press Gallery every Saturday from November 28 through December 19.
The Art Market will feature work from NOCCA students, faculty, and alumni, as well as artists in our community. You’ll also be able to enjoy delicious treats from The Boxcar food truck!

In celebration of local artists, 5 Press Gallery will host an art market at Press Street Gardens. The market will feature art pieces for sale, delicious treats from the NOCCA student-run Boxcar food truck, and other offerings from NOCCA’s students and alumni.
Vendors include new and veteran artists as well as local art market favorites and artists who are not typically available at area art markets. Vendors at the inaugural market on November 28th (Small Business Saturday) include:
Elise Toups and Ryan Groendyk: collaborative artwork, shirts, screen-prints, drawings, and paintings
Cathy Smith: handmade Christmas ornaments, miniatures, and crafts galore for all seasons
Happy Burbeck: cards and zine-style coloring books, and a variety of original art including paintings on canvas and paper, drawings, hand-painted ceramic miniatures
Magda Boreyesza: screenprints and zines, including her zine Toastycats
“Lucky Cat”: original paintings, creations and finds by Belva McMurray
Maddie Stratton and Shelby Stoor: coloring books, collages and original drawings from NOCCA alumni.
Porter Lyons: fine jewelry by local designer Ashley Porter, portions of sales from certain designs are donated to wetlands restoration and literacy programs
Restrung Jewelry: line of jewelry crafted from used guitar strings, with portion of sales benefiting music non-profits

Miki Glasser: porcelain wares with hand-drawn adornments
Small Fires Press: letterpress and handmade journals
NOLA Spacecraft: artists Caesar Meadows and Jeannie Detweiler create handmade tiny comics and hand-sewn art
The Aquarium Gallery and Studios: fine, functional and wearable art from an eclectic studio collective run by NOCCA alum Jacob Reptile
Luna Botanicals: terrariums, styled plants and wall-mounted planters
Ruby Troyano: NOCCA alum working in mosaics
Chloe Schwanz: hand-painted work includes faux butterflies in shadowboxes
The inaugural market will be held on Saturday, November 28th from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm. Subsequent markets will be held on:

Press Street Gardens is located at 7 Press Street (between Dauphine & Burgundy), where the historic Marigny and Bywater neighborhoods meet in New Orleans.
